Dare2 is committed to community
A big part of the dare2 mission is not just about self improvement, but community improvement through getting involved and serving our local communities where ever we can.
The little library project
Little libraries are terrific for sharing books with the community. This helps children (and adults!) get their hands on more material to read and goes a long way into building a sense of community identity and togetherness.
Sara Jean, with the help of her mother, and bestie, build up this particular little library by restoring and old, run down piece of furniture. By fixing the doors, adding shelf liners, cleaning up the body, they were able to restore and repurpose this beautiful furniture so it could add value to the community, rather than heading for the landfill.
You can see Sara Jean proudly standing beside the Little Library for her small community. Small acts like this can go a long way into adding value to those around you, but also bringing a sense of accomplishment, contentment, growth to yourself!
Sara Jean has always had a passion for reading and teaching. This act of community service is something that comes directly from the heart and is relevant to her own skill set. While doing something nice for your community is terrific, it gets even better when the work you do is close to your heart.
Dare2 Share Cards
Dare2 Share Cards are a fun way to spread a little joy and kindness in the world. These cards are designed to be handed out to people you meet, or left in random places for people to find. Each card has a unique message on it, and a QR code that links to the Dare2 website.
The idea is that when someone finds a card, they can scan the QR code and be taken to the Dare2 website where they can learn more about the Dare2 mission, and hopefully be inspired to spread a little joy and kindness themselves.
The cards are designed to be fun and engaging, with bright colors and positive messages. They are a great way to spread a little joy and kindness in the world, and to help people connect with the Dare2 community.
